Aether Lilt — Taiwanese High-Mountain Oolong (Lightly Oxidized)
Aether Lilt is a tea born above the clouds — cultivated at 1,800 meters in Taichung’s Dragon Phoenix Gorge (龍鳳峽), nestled within the mist-laced mountains of Central Taiwan. Here, cool air and shifting fog nurture slow-growing tea leaves prized for their floral brightness and creamy depth.
Each leaf is hand-rolled in small batches, then gently oxidized between 25–30%, a delicate balance that preserves the tea’s natural floral smell (清香) — its natural fragrance of fresh blossoms and morning dew. Finished with a slow, low-temperature roast, Aether Lilt captures the very breath of mountain air — elegant, ethereal, and alive with quiet clarity.
Flavor & Aroma
The aroma opens with notes of orchid, osmanthus, and white peach, drifting into a whisper of alpine honey and sweet cream. Its taste unfolds like dawn — bright at first, then mellowing into a round, buttery warmth with a lingering floral sweetness. When cold-brewed, Aether Lilt reveals a hidden resonance of fruit nectar and crisp mountain breeze, finishing with an airy, meditative calm.
Mouthfeel
Smooth as satin and light as mist, the liquor glides effortlessly across the tongue. Its texture feels both silky and buoyant — refreshing yet grounded — leaving a lingering sweetness that clears the senses like first light over high mountain ridges.
Origin & Craft
Harvested from Dragon Phoenix Gorge in Taichung, Central Taiwan, Aether Lilt grows in volcanic soil enriched by minerals and nourished by perpetual fog. The young leaves are handpicked at first flush, rolled by master artisans, and roasted in micro-lots to refine their floral complexity.
Cold-brewed for 10 hours in New York with pH-neutral Catskill Mountain water, this oolong translates high-mountain tranquility into a modern ritual of time and clarity — smooth, balanced, and profoundly alive.
Mood & Experience
To drink Aether Lilt is to taste the stillness between breaths — the moment light meets air. It clears the mind, steadies the spirit, and invites presence through simplicity. For those seeking clarity and renewal, this tea is an awakening: a sip of wind, a whisper of mountain dawn.
